We certainly enjoyed our stay at Japa suites and villas. The staff were attentive, polite, and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The facilities were exceptional. The pools were clean. The gardens immaculately maintained and the food/breakfast was an excellent standard and generous. We loved the location. it was right in the heart of Ubud however, it felt like you were in an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle because of its setting, its gardens and pools. Thank you to the staff.

Room was very spacious and bright. I loved the comfy bed with snow white bed sheets. Also there was wonderful huge bathroom with a bathtub, shower and 2 sinks. Overall stay was very peaceful and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also there were 2 swimming pools Room service was very quick. Was perfect for stay in day after active days.

Wonderful location at the heart of Ubud. But inside the hotel is secluded and very peaceful and calm. Staff is very friendly and nice. Rooms are very clean and everything is in perfect condition. Would gladly stay again.

the hotel is beautifully landscaped and very inviting Balinese atmosphere. Deluxe suite double bedroom we stayed is a spacious and clean. Their breakfast was exceptional. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Staff were super friendly and always willing to help! Room was lovely and there were multiple pools available. The property stored my luggage for the day as I had a late flight and even let me use a shower before I left for the airport!

I’ve been coming to Ubud for many years and have never stayed somewhere twice but I’ve finally found ‘my place ‘ After a major renovation and name change during lockdown I discovered Japa Suites and I’m so so glad I did There’s been great attention to detail when designing the rooms and everything works beautifully The spectacular gardens are calming and the pool setting is just beautiful with lots of lazing options Sadly I didn’t get to eat at the restaurant so I’m waiting for next time. The spa is stunning …..I took a package of a massage scrub and flower bath …….it was one of the best massages I’ve ever received. Very well priced compared with other spas too Now the staff ……….they are the heart of the hotel They made the whole stay ‘beautiful ‘from the afternoon delivery of little ‘nighttime sweets’ to help sleep to the attentive housekeeping staff and talented gardeners On halloween I was delivered handmade monster marshmallows made with matcha chocolate coating ! Amazing The gifts and kindness of reception staff were also phenomenal….the departure gift left me almost in tears I was as grateful to stay with them as they were to have guests back again So I suppose this is now my absolute favourite place to stay and I cannot wait to return to Japa It far exceeded

Japa is an incredible stay in Ubud. The best location, right in the heart of the thriving centre, but off the main strip, behind the action where it’s super quiet. The entry, lobby, pool, wellness areas are all designed so beautifully. Koi fish weave in the fountains and you can hear geckos and frogs everywhere! The place feels so serene. Our villa was absolutely stunning with its own pool, bath, robes, slippers and even two separate sinks with individual mirrors! The bed was firm, really great for our backs! The staff were all so beautiful and considerate - very thoughtful, accommodating and so friendly. They helped us rent a scooter, do our laundry and even organised massages on site in their wellness suite. I cannot fault the place, it was such a lovely time! I cannot wait to come back! Everything, location is perfect. Staff were very helpful. Swimming pool was very good and clean. Location was walking distance from many cafes, restaurants, super markets and all other facilities.

We had 10 days on Bali and stayed in 3 hotels together, all were wonderfull, but JAPA was the best. Quiet place just minutes from shops and restaurants, 100% clean, with couple of pools and beautiful garden, where you can always find a spot to relax with company or meditate by your self . Staff and management very helpful and nice in all situations. I really can recommend as a little paradise.

great location, walking distance to great cafes, such as piston, bakery next door selling amazing Japanese cheese cake, suka espresso. Easy walk to monkey forest, about 1/2 walk to ubud palace.
